The Chrysler K-Car refers to a whole line of cars produced by that company in the 1980's and '90's. Seen here is a Dodge Aries which is the type people think of when they remember this platform. But the architecture for the K-car was also used in everything from minivans to sports cars.

Beckoning back to the days of coachbuilding, the Landau top has been used these past hundred years to give cars a stately feel. But Chrysler really cheapened this image in the 1980's and 90's when they offered almost every model with an optional Landau top. It was tacky. It was horrid.
